Senior Litigation Counsel
Ada N. Henriquez brings a professional career of more than 30 years, including 25 years of law practice, with vast experience as a trial lawyer. Certified as a conflict mediator and arbitrator.
With a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, from 1990-1994, she served families of diverse ethnic background: preventing the removal of minor children, including administrative agencies advocacy and Family Court appearances, in New York.
While studying law, at University of Puerto Rico School of Law, she read for vision challenged students, worked as criminal law assistant for Professor Olga Elena Resumil, collaborating in the 1996 editing of her book “Criminology”. From 2009-2010, Henriquez taught Constitutional Law, Juvenile Delinquency and Criminology, at University of Turabo.
For three years, she served, ad honorem as the president of the First Citizen Committee with the Police of the Humacao Region, in response to the police reform required by the Federal District Court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as part of its guidelines related to a civil rights violations claim.
Certified member of the Community Emergency Response Team or CERT by the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Bureau, in conjunction with the Municipal Emergency Management Office of Yabucoa.
